Dhote, others to stage dharna for Vidarbha in Sewagram

Nagpur, Jul 29 (PTI) Staunch supporter of separate Vidarbha, and former MP Jambuwantrao Dhote, and others will stage a dharna on August 9 on the occasion of 'August Karnti Day' at Mahatma Gandhi Ashram premises in Sewagram. He would hold a day-long fasting while others will stage sit-in protest in Sewagram, Dhote told reporters today. Dhote will lead a team of leaders and workers to Delhi to seek an appointment with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi to apprise them of need for creation of separate Vidarbha.
