Four drown in separate incidents in Jammu
PTI | 02:07 PM,Jul 27,2010Jammu, Jul 27 (PTI) Four persons drowned in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, police said here today.Two cousins - Mohinder and Maninder - drowned in Ranbir Canal at Belicharana in Jammu and their bodies were fished out last evening by police, they said.In a similar incident, the body of Babu Khan was recovered from a canal in Trikuta Nagar area of the city where he drowned while bathing, they said.Another boy, Surinder Kumar, also drowned in a pond in Vijaypur area of Samba district and his body was fished out by police.All bodies have been handed over to the families of the deceased after post mortem, police said.
