Four fireworks factory workers injured in explosion

Madurai, Oct 7 (PTI): Four workers of a fireworks factory at Sengamalampatti near Sivakasi were badly injured when a bundle of crackers they were shifting exploded due to friction today. Police said they were shifting the bundles to repair tiles of a shed which broke last night after piecees of rock from a nearby quarry, being mined with explosives, fell on it. All the injured have been hospitalised.
