Haryana govt constituting special health teams for CWG
PTI | 10:08 PM,Aug 29,2010Chandigarh, Aug 29 (PTI) Haryana government today said special health teams were being constituted to provide better healthcare in the National Capital Region areas falling in the state in view of the Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi in October. There would be no letup in providing quality health services in the NCR region during the Games, state Health Minister Geeta Bhukal said here. The Department was also taking effective steps to control various diseases, she said adding that a strong network was being created to provide better medicare to the people. An infrastructure was also being created to monitor the working of the doctors, she added. Bhukal said that Indira Bal Swasthya Yojana had also been implemented in the state. Under the scheme, health check-up of all school children was done and medicines were provided to the needy students.
