PTI | 11:08 PM,Aug 09,2010Mumbai, Aug 9 (PTI) Bombay High Court today allowed World Sports Group (Mauritius) to refer its dispute with Sony MSM (Singapore) over payment of facilitation fee for the telecast rights of Indian Premier League to arbitrator in Singapore.Sony had opposed arbitration in Singapore, but Justice Roshan Dalvi dismissed its plea, WSG lawyer Suhas Tulzhapurkar said. Now, the matter will be now referred to arbitration under International Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, he said.MSM had earlier entered into agreement with WSG to acquire IPL media rights in the subcontinent. It paid Rs 125 crore to WSG as first instalment of 'facilitation fee'.But later it came to know that BCCI alone has all the rights and moved the High Court seeking back the money paid to WSG.One of the accusations against the suspended IPL chairman Lalit Modi is that he kept BCCI in the dark over the facilitation fee deal between MSM and WSG.
