Iran to participate in Asian Volleyball

Kolkata, Sep 3 (PTI) World number 18 Iran will be the main attraction in the third Asian Senior Men's Volleyball Championship (Central Zone) to be held in the Netaji Indoor Stadium here from September 16-20. Apart from hosts India, who are currently FIVB ranked 46th, there will also be participation from world no 25 Kazakhstan and world no 115 Pakistan. The tournament will be held under the aegis of the West Bengal Volleyball Association (WBVA). The WBFA joint general secretary Rathin Roy Chaudhary said, "Iran will add glamour to the tournament. Bangladesh were to participate but it's now not confirmed." PTI TAP PR ATK
