Medical officer held for accepting bribe of Rs 3,000

Nashik, Sep 8 (PTI) A medical officer here was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 by the sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. Yashwant Laxman Khokle in Surgana Panchayat Samiti was held receiving the amount from complainant and Bubali PHC worker Reena tulashiram Keng, from whom he had demanded money to give an extension to her temporary tenure of 11 months, ACB sources said today. ACB laid a trap and caught the officer accepting bribe in Samiti premises yesterday, sources added.
