Modi launches website for Global Meet in Bihar
PTI | 06:10 PM,Oct 28,2011Patna, Oct 28 (PTI) Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi today launched a special website for holding the proposed three-day 'Global Conclave on Changing Bihar: Forging Partnerships for Development' likely to take place here from February 17 next year. Talking to reporters on the occasion, Modi said around one thousand important personalities, industries and entrepreneurs were likely to participate in the Global Conclave. The proposed meet also aims to bring together eminent individuals including intellectuals, investors, industrialists, development practioners, policy makers and professions, as well as various organisations including development agencies, donors and civil society institutions for contributing to the ongoing process of change and development in Bihar, he said. Modi said the objectives would be to generate innovative ideas and thinking among the actors and stakeholders concerned for fostering progress in the state and to define the priorities and roadmap for the future.
