

MP to hold industry interactive session in Kolkata on Aug 31
PTI | 02:08 PM,Aug 21,2010Bhopal, Aug 21 (PTI) As a part of a campaign to attract industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh, the state government will hold an industry interactive session in Kolkata on August 31. Industry Minister Kailash Vijayavargiya will address the session as chief guest and more than 200 industrialists, investors and CEOs of industrial units of West Bengal and adjoining states have been invited to attend the event. The focus of the session will be power and mineral-based industries, an official release said here today adding the industrialists, investors and others attending it will be informed about the attractive package being offered by the Madhya Pradesh government for investment in the field of energy and for setting up of mineral-based industries. Along with this, the invitees will be informed about the natural resources, and the opportunities available in the state for investment through a video presentation. A film destination Madhya Pradesh showing specialities of the state will also be screened at the session. On behalf of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Kailash Vijayavargiya will invite the participating investors, industrialists and CEOs to attend the Global investors Submmit-II to be organised at-Khajuraho on October 22 and 23. The focus of Global investors Summit-II at Khajuraho will be on agriculture and food processing, textiles, infrastructure, energy, and mineral-based industries.
