Rituparna awaits challenging roles in Bollywood
PTI | 10:08 AM,Aug 22,2010Mumbai, Aug 22 (PTI) Actor Rituparna Sengupta, who has two releases this months, is awaiting more challenging roles in Bollywood after her successful stint in Bengali Film Industry. "Its five years that I am working in Hindi films. Though I am overall satisfied with my work here, I want more challenging roles," she told PTI. The 38-year-old actor has starred in Hindi movies like 'Main Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh', 'Do Knot Disturb' and the more recent 'Bumm Bumm Bole'. She has received a national award for Best Actress for her role in Bengali movie, 'Dahan'. Rituparna would have two releases in August in Bollywood.First is 'And Once Again' and 'Life Express'. Life Express deals with the complex issue of surrogacy.While I play the urban woman, Divya Dutta plays the rural woman. It is a very contemporary issue, she said. She was also all praise for her 'And...' director Amol Palekar. Dealing with emotions has always been his forte, she added.
