

Rogge says Youth Olympics to have better athletes
| 02:59 PM,Aug 25,2010SINGAPORE (AP) — International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge says some countries regret not sending their top athletes to the inaugural Youth Olympics in Singapore.Rogge said at a news conference Thursday those countries had promised that their best teenage athletes will participate at the next Youth Games in Nanjing, China in 2014.Rogge said he was also pushing for an agreement with FIFA to allow higher quality football teams to play at future Youth Games.
