Tripura to appoint school teachers
PTI | 10:02 PM,Feb 08,2012Agartala, Feb 8 (PTI) School Education Department will release offers of appointment for science graduate teachers across the state by this month, School Education Minister, Tapan Chakraborty said today. ''Altogether 1000 offers which include 600 pure-science teachers and 400 bio-science teachers will be released by this month,'' he said. ''In a recent meeting, the state cabinet approved the recruitment for the vacant posts besides 40 headmasters and assistant headmasters,'' Chakraborty said. However, the appointments for undergraduate teachers will not be made in the next couple of months due to financial crunch, he said. Earlier, the department had recruited more than 6000 post graduate and graduate teachers in April last year.
