Advertorial: Schneider Electric - Making the most of your energy!
A business takes a lot from the society, nature, and its people to thrive and therefore, it is only fair to give them back something in return. CSR is an important success factor for businesses in today's economy. Professor Klaus Schwab - Executive Chair, World Economic Forum – January 2008 opines that companies are obliged to CSR initiatives because they are not only 'engaged with their stakeholders, but are themselves stakeholders alongside governments and civil society.'
Hence, business leaders should lead the way to sustainable development efforts and address ‘paramount global challenges, including climate change.’

Advertorial: Hitachi, the AC which cleans itself
Dust and dirt are possibly the worst enemies of an air conditioner. The dirt which gets stuck in the AC clogs the filter and ultimately leads to poor cooling, increased power consumption, and reduced air volume. Eventually the worse follows. Your AC maintenance costs surge and chances are that you’ll be left with that unpleasant odor rather than the soothing chill you always wanted from your AC.
Keeping all this in mind the Japanese technology major Hitachi has rolled out a range of self-cleaning air conditioners. Launched under the brand name of iClean, these ACs are intelligent, new-age machines which clean themselves by the means of Automatic Filter Cleaning Technology. The interior structure of these ACs is made of stainless steel and is equipped with an advanced cleaning mechanism which ensures that the filter fitted in the AC is meticulously cleaned so that the supply of fresh, clean, cool and soothing air never ceases.
