Do you often come back from watching a film and feel really disappointed? Like you just didn't have a good time? I know, I do every now and then. And that makes me really mad. Because you know, going to the movies is meant to be a fun outing, it's meant to be an enjoyable experience.

It's meant to be your escape from reality. I mean, you pay the price of a movie ticket to take a break from your own life. So you deserve to have a good time. All said and done, most things considered, films are great.

But here's our take on how to make them just a little bit better. So prepare yourself for '12 Ways to Improve The Movies'. With tongue firmly in cheek, here are a few suggestions on just how to make the movies much more fun.

  • Shorten every film by 30 minutes.
  • Ban babies in cinema halls.
  • Adapt good books. Don't copy Hollywood films.
  • No more Telugu remakes.
  • Allow Aishwarya only to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
  • Money-back offer to everyone who pays to watch an Amisha Patel film.
  • Cast Aamir and Shah Rukh together in a film directed by Ramgopal Varma.

  • Make Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi kiss and make up.
  • Piping hot buttered popcorn.
  • More leg room between cinema seats.
