New Delhi: The 14th and last session of the current Lok Sabha comes to an end on Thursday.
Barring a few regulars, who attend the House religiously and also participated in the proceedings, there is a sizable number who have remained largely apathetic to the proceedings.
Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has been vocal about the conduct of MPs in the Lower House using the harshest terms while reprimanding them.
The veteran parliamentarian from Bolpur has made it clear that he won't be contesting again.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is recovering from a bypass surgery and was expected to attend the last day of the session, may not do so due to an infection.
Meanwhile, there are indications that the Government will not dissolve the 14th Lok Sabha, which will have its last sitting on February 26.
