New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, an 18-year-old girl died after she was stuck in a lift at her workplace.
The incident happened at around 1630 hrs (IST) on Sunday afternoon.
Neetu Singh was working as a sales girl in a departmental store called Morning Store in South Delhi's Greater Kailash area.
She was immediately rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences where she succumbed to injuries.
The girl's family is alleging that it is a case of murder and is blaming the departmental store for negligence.
“We have heard that the lift was to get repaired,” says Neetu's uncle, Vipin Kumar.
The employees were witness to the incident, police said.
