    Commentary (South Africa 1st Innings)

That's all we have from this match. We look forward to your company for the second ODI on 27th November at 1330 IST. Until then, on behalf of the commentary and scoring team, it's good bye and cheers!!!

Anwar Ali is declared the Man of the Match for his all-round show. He says that he played his natural game and wanted to express himself. Also adds that their plan was to play out all overs and he has batted well before also with Bhatti in domestic cricket. Admits that he was a bit nervous but once he got on the field, he got relaxed.

Misbah-ul-Haq is pleased with the win and says that he is really happy with the effort, specially of the two debutants. He adds that the plan was to negotiate the new ball but they kept on losing wickets at the wrong time and fell short by 20-30 runs. Also says that the partnership between Bilawal and Ali shifted the momentum towards them. Adds that they are really looking forward to win the series as they have never done so in South Africa.

AB de Villiers looks disappointed with the performance. He praises his bowlers for doing a superb job but admits that it's been a while since they have chased down a total. Adds that they are playing against a world class bowling attack and they will try to get better. Praises Jacques Kallis and says that he is a class player.

Bilawal Bhatti had a dream ODI debut, both with bat and ball. Apart from him, the Pakistani spinners did a magnificent job in the middle overs and kept on picking wickets at regular interval. Saeed Ajmal once again was at his miserly best and also hunted down two wickets, which also included the wicket of Duminy, who was looking threatening to run away with the match.

A fantastic win for Pakistan as they take a 1-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series. Their batting faltered once again but courtesy a superb stand between debutants, Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti, they managed to post a decent total on the board. The bowling and fielding from the visitors were excellent and they managed to bowl out the famed batting line-up for South Africa, gaining a lovely victory.
