New Delhi While the Indian Capital was tied up in knots as 20,000 couples took their vow on Wednesday night, the day also saw major traffic snarls till late night.

The wedding bells rung across the Capital and the wedding season literally began with a bang.

The astrological gurus of the country, our Indian Pundits declared the day auspicious to tie knots and said that the propitious wedding season will last till about December 5.

However, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has appealed to people not to burst crackers and avoid playing loud music. But amidst all the revelry, the message was clearly lost.
