2012 Tata Indica eV2 launched in India at Rs 4.01 lakh

Tata Motors have launched the 2012 Indica eV2 in India. Sporting new headlamps, chrome tipped grille, revised front bumper, alloy wheels and a rear spoiler, the 2012 Indica eV2 is now available at a starting price of Rs 4.01 lakh ex-Delhi, a price-cut of Rs 23,000 from the outgoing model.

Customers can also avail of Tata Motors' Finance scheme with a down payment of Rs 50,000 including road tax, registration and insurance. Available with a choice of a 70PS 140Nm 1.4-litre diesel and petrol engines, the refreshed Indica also gets improved gear ratios, clutch to start feature, auto-drive assist and reduction in weight by 10kg. Tata claims a fuel efficiency of 25kmpl for the diesel eV2.

The interiors get shadow beige upholstery and the top trim sports a wood-finish console, USB and Bluetooth enabled music system as also keyless entry. The top end LX trim is priced at Rs 4.87 lakh, ex-Delhi.
