Mumbai: The railway police arrested a 20-year-old last night at the CST station for carrying a country made revolver.
Rajesh Tomar was arrested following his suspicious movement at the railway station and after he opened fire at a cop while trying to evade arrest.
Tomar tried escaping and had run towards platform number 18.
However, no one was injured in the incident.
The police have seized the weapon and are probing the accused.
Preliminary investigations have ruled out any terror related motives.
