New Delhi: Twenty-nine-year old Rohit is recovering from a heart attack and the reason for his misery is veteran congress leader, former chief minister and present Andhra Governor, N D Tiwary.
Rohit claims Tiwary is his biological father and he wants Tiwary to adopt him. However, the Governor denies the claim and so the matter has now reached the High Court.
Rohit's mother, Ujjwala says, "My son and family have undergone extreme humiliation but we have full faith in the legal system."
Tiwary has been charged of having a relationship with Ujjawala - who is the daughter of former MoS Sher Singh. He got in touch with Sher Singh in 1967 while serving as the President of Indian Youth Congress.
At the time, Ujjawala was divorced. Now in his defence, Tiwary, while admitting that he knew Ujjwala, describes her as an unchaste woman.
In a counter affidavit filed before the High Court, Tiwary's lawyers say:
"She as an unchaste woman and had Tiwary as her paramour even during the subsistence of her marriage."
Meanwhile, Rohits grandmother Prabhat Shobha says, "We are doing it so that he gets his fathers name and to get our pride back."
To further prove their case, Rohit's family members want Tiwary to undergo a DNA test - something that the octogenerian leader is unwilling to go through.
