Speaking to CNN-IBN, ex-CAG audit officer RP Singh said that the audit was done without guidelines and was influenced by PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi. He further said that the loss figure mentioned in the report was presumptive and had been restored in the final report, despite having been deleted by him in the draft report.
The revelations by the ex-CAG officer at such a crucial time, just days after the 2G auction, raises certain key questions:
- Is RP Singh being set up by the Congress to target the CAG's credibility?

The revelations by the ex-CAG principal auditor just days after the 2G auction raises certain key questions.
