Ahmedabad: A huge cache of explosives, including 200 kgs of ammonium nitrate and 600 detonators, were on Sunday seized by Gujarat police from Vapi in Valsad district.
The seizure comes a day after a blast rocked a popular bakery in Pune killing nine persons and injuring 57 others.
Four bags containing 50 kg of explosive substance ammonium nitrate each and detonators were recovered from four people travelling in a car from Vapi-Silvassa road, they said.
The four have been arrested and the car in which they were travelling has been seized, police said, adding further investigations are on.
