4 HuJI terrorists gunned down in J&K

New Delhi: Security forces on Thursday morning gunned down four Pakistani militants affiliated to Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami in a fierce gun battle in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Among the dead was the divisional commander of the outfit Abu Saleem, a defence spokesperson was quoted by news agency PTI as saying.

He also added that two bodies have been recovered from the area.

Elaborating on how they zeroed in on the militants, the official said the army troops, acting on a tip-off, launched a search operation in Deeda area of Gool tehsil of Udhampur.
