New Delhi: The wife of a Supreme Court joint registrar was found dead in her Anand Vihar home in East Delhi on Wednesday.
52-year-old Ravinder Kaur Gill had multiple stab injuries on her body.
Police say the killer made a friendly entry into the house and, in all likelihood, was known to the victim.
Prima facie evidence shows that robbery was the motive behind the crime as the house had been ransacked.
Gill was alone at home at the time of the incident. The police refused to divulge who the prime suspect is but said that they had collected enough evidence from the crime scene to make an arrest.
Anand Mohan, the DCP (East) said, “It was a friendly entry and the victim seems to have known the killer. We have found some clues and are investigating them.”
