New Delhi: In Pakistan, two suicide bombers struck a short while ago at the military cantonment in Wah, north of Islamabad.
Pakistani media reports say the target was the ordnance factory making ammunition. At least 59 people are dead and the toll is expected to rise further.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing scores of bodies lying outside the gates of the factory.
Radical militant group Tehrik-e-Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Pakistan's Geo TV quoted Rawalpindi police officer, Nasir Khan as saying that the blasts targeted civilians. The injured have been shifted to hospitals and security forces cordoned off the area of the blasts.
Two bodies were seen lying on the ground and police said they might be those of the suspected suicide attackers.
Prime Minister Geelani has condemned the attack and security is being beefed up at all sensitive installations.
On Tuesday, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a hospital in Dera Ismail Khan in the North West Frontier Province, killing at least 23 people and injuring 15 others.
