New Delhi: Good news for car lovers!
Carmakers will turn up the heat this summer by launching half-a-dozen new cars in April.
The season will start with BMW rolling out the BMW 320i and 325i petrol and the 325d diesel.
Fiat' Ranjangaon plant will go on stream in the first week of April and will roll out the new improved Fiat Palio hatchbacks with a 1.1 litre engine.
Giving the Fiat Palio competition will be the Hyundai's Getz Prime, slated for a mid April launch. It has the same 1100cc engine used in the Santro Xing.
Also, on the comeback trail is the Daewoo Matiz, now christened the Chevrolet Spark. In fact General Motors chief Rick Wagoner will fly in to unveil the Spark in India around the middle of April.
But perhaps the most awaited car is the Mahindra Renault Logan, which is expected to drive out in the first week of April.
The Logan will be available in two petrol engine options 1400cc and 1600cc and a 1500cc turbo-diesel motor.
Honda will also inaugurate their small car plant in mid April in Rajasthan, and Nissan' s Teania will also be launched in April.
Big Boy Maruti will launch their New Baleno by April end or early May.
So, if you are a car lover, April promises to be the stuff your dreams are made of.
