New Delhi: A terrorist outfit that called itself Lashker-e-Qahar - a module of Pak-based Lashkar-e-Toiba - on Saturday sent an e-mail to various television channels claiming responsibility for Tuesday's serial blasts in Mumbai.
The mail has now been traced to a cyber cafe in the Khajrana district of Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
Police suspect activists of the banned outfit, the Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) - which has a strong presence in the area - are behind the mail.
Ujjain, Bhopal and Indore in MP are traditional SIMI strongholds and at least 17 sympathisers were detained from the areas during the Mumbai blasts investigation.
