New Delhi: At least eight people were killed and 25 others injured in northern Sri Lanka by a roadside bomb that ripped through a civilian vehicle.
This is the second such attack within a week. Sixteen people were killed in a bus bombing last week that the military has blamed the LTTE for.
The government has warned that the LTTE rebels could attempt to disrupt the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festivities next week.
