Mumbai: Eight more people tested positive for swine flu here on Thursday, taking the total number of cases in the metropolis to 108 since June 1.
"Eight persons have tested positive for swine flu on Thursday. Of these cases two are children and the remaining are adults. There is no pregnant woman," said Dr Daksha Shah, in-charge of the civic health department's epidemiology cell.
Seven people have died due to swine flu in Mumbai since June 1.
Meanwhile, overall 415 cases of monsoon-related ailments were reported today. This includes 243 cases of fever, 101 cases of gastro, 79 cases of malaria, two cases of dengue and one case of lepto.
