85th Academy Awards: Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts to fight for Best Actress

New Delhi: The actresses who have found their names in the nomination list of the best actress category of the 85th Academy Awards are Jessica Chastain in 'Zero Dark Thirty', Jennifer Lawrence in 'Silver Linings Playbook', Emmanuelle Riva in 'Amour', Quvenzhane Wallis in 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' and Naomi Watts in 'The Impossible'.

Jessica came into limelight with her fabulous performance in 'The Tree of Life' and 'The Help' while Jennifer Lawrence made it big with 'The Winter's Bone'. She has recently given a good performance in 'The Hunger Game' as well.

Emmanuelle Riva is 85 but that doesn't stop her from giving fantastic performances. She started acting at the age of 32 with a film called 'Hiroshima Mon Amour'.

Jessica Chastain came into limelight with her fabulous performance in \'The Tree of Life\' and \'The Help\'.

Quvenzhane Wallis has started acting at a very tender age. She played the character of Hushpuppy in the 'Beasts of the Southern Wild'.

Naomi Watts is the last name in this list. The actress had made the heads turn with her startling portrayal of Betty Elms in David Lynch's 'Mulholland Drive'. This time she will be considered for her performance in 'The Impossible'.
