New Delhi: The designated TADA court hearing the Mumbai blasts case on Saturday pronounced as guilty gangster dawood Ibrahim's men Gul Mohammad Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Mohammed Hanif Shaikh, Mohammed Issaq, Ibrahim Hussain Shaikh and Usman Khan.
The five, who were currently on bail, have been charged with participating in the conspiracy to trigger serial bomb blasts in Mumbai in March 1993.
They are also charged with going to Pakistan via Dubai in February-March 1993 to attend training in handling arms and explosives.
All the five were also charged with attending conspiracy meetings in Dubai and Pakistan.
They are facing charges under 120-b IPC and section 3(3) of TADA(P) act and now face punishment ranging from five years to life imprisonment.
It is the case of CBI that prime conspirators Dawood Ibrahim and Tiger Memon had organised conspiracy meetings in Dubai and summoned his men from Mumbai to attend it.
The conspirators had also sent these men to Pakistan via Dubai for training in arms and explosives.
