Mumbai: Twenty-eight-year old Vinayak Devrukhakar is holding on to memories. All that remains of his sister Shashikala and brother Vasant is a picture.

His silences and vacant eyes try to tell them that it's over and that the man responsible for their death has been himself sentenced to death.

"Only once he is hanged will I get some peace of mind,” says Devrukhakar.

On March 12, 1993, 22-year-old Shashikala and 11-year-old Vasant perished in the bomb blast at Century Bazaar.

The blast took place after Abdul Ghani Ismael Turk parked an RDX laden jeep at the spot.

And 14 years later, Devrukhakar is struggling to rebuild his life. “Till I am alive the wounds will remain,” said Devrukhakar.

He does not feel any sense of closure but he hopes that the sentence brings peace to Shashikala and Vasant's souls.
