New Delhi: A 29-year-old employee of the government of Mizoram was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle on Monday night.
The victim was crossing the road near Delhi's Police Headquarters when the accident took place.
He was rushed to LNJP Hospital where he was declared dead.
Doctors cited severe head injury to be the cause of his death.
This was the second such incident to have taken place in the day. Early Monday morning a 70 year old morning walker, a registrar at Bharitya Vidya Bhawan was allegedly run over by a call centre cab.
The police have not been able to identify the driver or the vehicle in either of the cases.
