Srinagar: Twenty thousand plant species from every corner of the globe, all in just 300 sq meter of land. This is the work of 54-year-old farming genius Ghulam Mohideen. His paradise has rare medicinal plants, and herbs dating back to the dinosaur age.

You almost feel like Alice in wonderland walking down the rabbit hole when you are greeted by his fluffily white pets. His garden is full of surprises. He grows mangoes, oranges and hybrid cherries and maintains plants in bottles along with an array of colorful blossoms.

Mohideen says, “There are numerous varieties which I have successfully grown. They don't grow here and I have never used pesticides.''

The Jammu and Kashmir government is yet to recognise Mohideen's work but that has not deterred his efforts.

It is a jungle out here, literally every inch of unique farm boasts of plant species, which are never seen in Kashmir and Mohideen quest for experimentation, meanwhile goes on and on.
