A sandy wish for Big B | Wish him

Puri: Famous sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik worked for four hours on the sands of the Puri beach to carve an image of Amitabh Bachchan.
Patnaik and his sand art students used 64 bags of sand to make it. Though, Sudarshan has never met his favourite star, he plans to send a photograph of the sand art as a birthday gift to Big B.
"On his birthday Amitabhji will get many good gifts from many people. But we sand artists love him a lot and thought this is our best way of wishing him on his birthday," said Patnaik.
While Patnaik was making the image of Bachchan at the Puri beach, several onlookers and tourists gathered, all to convey their wishes to the superstar.
"We love Amitabh Bachchan so much. We wish on his 64th Birthday that he lives for another 640 years and continue to entertain us," said a tourist, Rajat Majumdar.
Last year when Bachchan had been hospitalized, the same sand artists led by Patnaik had made his image on the beach of Konark to pray for his recovery.
