Click to play videoMumbai: Actor Aamir Khan finally made a public appearance with his nephew Imran, to launch the music of the younger Khan’s debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
As expected, Aamir hogged all the attention, with or without his nephew. Like his previous films, this time too, he made sure that he got the blessings from the actor whom he considers his lucky mascot - Shammi Kapoor.
“This is Imran’s first film, a first step for him. So we’ve come to Uncle Shammi as he has proved to be my lucky mascot,” Aamir said.
Aamir then promptly went into apology mode, for his digs at Shah Rukh Khan on his blog.
“Those people who were uncomfortable with the post, my sincere apologies… anyone's fan who has been upset. As far as Shah Rukh Khan is concerned, he is a dear friend and there is no misunderstanding,” Aamir explained.
There was even something about making fun of rival Salman Khan in the new song from the film.
“’Pappu Can’t Dance’ is certainly not on Salman. And I think Salman dances very well, much better than me. So it’s obvious that to ‘Pappu Can’t Dance’ is certainly not based on Salman,” he asserted.
So, how much does the perfectionist rate his own nephew?
“I am very strict person so I will rate him at 6,” said Aamir.
Let's hope the audience gives him a better rating.
