Mumbai: Priyadarshan's latest slapstick comedy, Mere Baap Pehle Aap is all set to hit theatres this Friday. Predictably, the film features Priyadarshan's favourite actor Paresh Rawal.
As the title suggests, Paresh Rawal features as the baap (father) in Priyadarshan's new comic flick. In the film the actor has a tough time resisting son Akshaye Khanna's plea to get married.
"I think the storyline and the chemistry between the father and son is the high point of the film," says Paresh Rawal.
A regular in almost every Priyadarshan film, Paresh Rawal is fast to point out that he has several other films under his belt including Maharathi, Mumbai Meri Jaan and a special appearance in Aamir Khan's home production Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
But what he would really like is to be directed by Aamir Khan.
"I think Aamir Khan's a fantastic director," says Rawal.
Well, one hopes Aamir is listening to this particular plea.
