Kochi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Wednesday said that ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's nomination to the Rajya Sabha was a 'good selection'.
'I know Sachin to be a person of high integrity. He is an honest, straight forward person, sensible and intelligent and these are qualities I would like to see in a person who is being nominated to the Rajya sabha', he told reporters in Kochi.
'I think it is a good selection and having received the invitation he himself feels he has something to contribute,'he said when asked for his reaction to the government nominating the master blaster to the Upper House of Parliament.

Tendulkar must have thought a great deal about it, the '3 Idiots' star said adding he was happy with the government's decision.
