Mumbai: According an interview with a private news channel, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is all set to marry his sweetheart, Kiran Rao, whom he met on the sets of Lagaan in 2002.
The marriage is expected to take place at the hill station of Panchgani, about 250 km from Mumbai, on New years Day, 2006.
The star has booked an hotel at Panchgani for the event, which would be attended by who's who of the film industry.
Aamir, who married Reena at the age of 21, divorced her after 16 years of marriage in 2002. His two children, Junaid and Ira, live with Reena.
In 2003, Aamir was awarded the Padma Bhushan.
Aamir made his Bollywood debut with superhit Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in late 1980s.
The 40-year-old star's last movie Mangal Pandey - The Rising was a hit at the box-office. His forthcoming release is Rang De Basanti.
