Faridkot (Punjab): With a curly mop, a French beard and flashing a golden smile, Aamir Khan disguised himself as a documentary filmmaker to attend a pre-wedding ceremony in a village in Faridkot.
The actor, who is making surprise appearances in different cities to promote his upcoming film 3 Idiots, wore sunglasses and sported an artificial golden teeth while participating in the haldi ceremony of the bride on Saturday evening, spending more than two hours in the household.
“The bride's family was not able to recognise him but when he revealed himself there was lot of excitement and hysteria in the house,” said the groom, Gurjeet Singh.
The 44-year-old actor later revealed himself and danced with the members of the bride's family.
After having dinner, the actor left to an undisclosed location past midnight but before his departure, he invited the couple who tied the knot on Sunday, to the premiere of 3 Idiots in Mumbai.
Aamir, is on a seven city tour to promote the film, which releases on December 25. The actor has already made visits to Varanasi, Kolkata, Palanpur in Gujarat and Jaipur.
