New Delhi: Left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak has been asked to join the Bangladesh Test squad in Galle, Sri Lanka, where the two teams are currently playing the first Test.
The 30-year-old Razzak has been a regular in Bangladesh's limited-overs squad, though he hasn't been able to cement himself as a Test player with his last Test appearance coming on the Zimbabwe tour in August 2011.
"We received a request from the Bangladesh team management in Sri Lanka and according to their requirement Razzak has been included in the side," Akram Khan, Bangladesh's chief selector was quoted as saying by Cricinfo.
Razzak is expected to join the squad on Monday.
