Milan: AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says the club does not need to sell any more big-name players. Milan sold stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva in the offseason as they tried the balance the books.
On Thursday Galliani said "this summer's sales were due to high wages, but that's it now, there's no need to sell anymore." Milan have seen decreased attendances this season, with the club's fans disillusioned following its poor start and the departure of several key players.
Galliani says this is partly due to the economic crisis in Italy but adds "maybe we need to lower ticket prices and we are thinking of doing so next year." Milan have signed a new, increased two-year sponsorship deal with German carmaker Audi.
