Acer unveils Iconia Tab A110, A210

Mumbai: Acer has unveiled two new tablets - Iconia Tab A110 and Iconia Tab 110 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the on-going Computex 2012 in Taipei, Taiwan. These new tablets come with different screen sizes and will house a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 inside them. The Acer Iconia Tab A110 is the 7-inch display bearing tablet that is expected to cost around $200 (Rs 11,000). While the Iconia Tab A210 features a 10.1-inch display but there is no clarity on its pricing.

These two tablets are the respective successors of the Iconia Tab A100 and Iconia Tab A200 tablets.

The new Acer Iconia Tab A110 tablet features a 7-inch touchscreen display supporting 1024x600 pixel resolution support. It houses a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It features a USB 2.0 port, micro HDMI port and micro SD card slot.

The two Iconia Tab tablets - A110 and A210 have Android 4.0 and quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3.

There's also a front facing camera and no camera at the back. This tablet is basically an updated version of Iconia Tab A100 with dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor.

Acer Iconia Tab A210 features 10.1-inch touchscreen display that supports 1280x800 pixel resolution. Under the hood, it houses a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor with 1 GB RAM. By default, this tablet will be offered in two different storage options - 8 GB and 16 GB. It will feature a 3620 mAh battery to offer greater run time. Front facing camera exists but there is no camera at the back of the tablet.

Acer did not announce the expected prices of this product and we can expect to see them in second of this year in the market.
