Acid attack victim dies at SCB

SOHELA(BARGARH):  Chudamani Bagh, who was injured in an acid attack in Bhatbida village under Sohela police limits over past enmity, died at SCB Medical on Monday. The attack had left him with serious injuries on face and after treatment at VSS Medical at Burla he was shifted to SCB Medical.
Sources said a year back one Chudamani Bagh of the village had trespassed into the house of one Prashanta Sahu and tried to outrage the modesty of his sister. Since then Prashanta was on the look out for Chudamani to take revenge. On April 15, while Chudamani was witnessing a yagna, Prashant reached the spot and threw acid at Chudamani injuring him badly.
