New Delhi: He won't say no to romantic movies, but actor Rana Daggubati admits action films will always be his priority. "Not that I don't want to do any romantic films, but action films will always be my priority. I have grown up watching 'Rocky' and 'Rambo' and I am fascinated with action films. I enjoy action films. If I get any interesting script on romantic film, then I will do it," Rana said.
Rana's first Hindi film was 'Dum Maaro Dum' and his second is 'Department', which is releasing on May 18.
The actor, who is doing well in the southern film industry, has got six-pack abs.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's 'Department' has a remixed version of Amitabh Bachchan's all time classic 'Thodi Si Jo' song from Namak Halaal.

The song is picturised on Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati in RGV's upcoming film.

'Department' will be released across all theatres on May 18.

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, 'Department' features Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati and Sanjay Dutt.

Varma has denied reports saying his forthcoming film 'Department' is based on the real-life characters of the Mumbai police.

It was reported that the movie revolves around the Anti-Terrorist Squad created to eliminate the mafia and talks about the struggle within the police department.

Sanjay Dutt has paid a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan with a remake of the megastar's iconic track 'Thodi si jo pi li hai' as part of 'Department'.

The rights of the song, which was originally part of the 1982 film 'Namak Halal', were bought, and the number was given a contemporary twist by music director Bappa Lahiri for Varma's film.

The song is sung by Sukhwinder Singh.

It has been picturised on Sanjay and ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

The makers of upcoming film 'Department' have rubbished reports that the film's release has been delayed due to pending shoots.

According to reports, the climax of the film has to be reshot, while a song featuring Sanjay Dutt also remains to be filmed.

Ram Gopal Varma earlier put rumours about the item number 'Dan Dan Cheeni' in his upcoming film 'Department' to rest, insisting the song is in fact inspired by Rajinikanth's 'Aasai Nooruvagai'.

The 50-year-old director has introduced Indo-Brazilian beauty Nathalia Kaur as item girl in the song, where she is seen shaking a leg with actors Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati.

Varma has confirmed speculations that 'Dan Dan' is inspired by 'Aasai Nooruvagai', the track composed by Ilayaraja and picturised on the Tamil superstar.

Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the music is by composer duo Dharam-Sandeep of 'Rakta Charitra' fame.

Amitabh Bachchan will be seen shaking a leg in his signature style in the forthcoming film 'Department' and actress Anjana says she was stunned to see Big B's amazing energy level.

Composed by Bappa Lahiri, the song is sung by Mika and Sudesh Bhosle.

He won\'t say no to romantic movies, but actor Rana Daggubati admits action films will always be his priority.
Ask him if it is for 'Department', and he replies: "I already have a six-pack abs for more than a year now. This was not made for the film. I have made this 6-pack abs for one of my Telugu films. 'Department' has lot of action but I am not revealing my six-pack abs in this film."
Directed by Ram Gopal Verma, 'Department' also features Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt.
