One of the rare international actors in Malayalam, especially of the nineties, Gavin Packard died a few days ago. The senior actor who acted in many interesting villain roles succumbed to death following respiratory diseases.
The 48-year-old actor, breathed his last at a nursing centre in Vasai and his funeral was held at St.Andrews burial grounds in Bandra.
Gavin was known for his roles, in films like 'Ayushkalam', 'Season', 'Jackpot', 'Aryan' and 'Ananval Mothiram'. His first Bollywood film was 'Ilaaka' (1989) and his last film was 'Yeh Hai Jalwa' (2001) directed by David Dhawan. He has also done important roles in films like 'Tridev', 'Karan Arjun' and 'Mohra'. Gavin, who was a fitness trainer by profession was keeping away from films for quite some years following his ailments.
