Simbu was mobbed during the shoot of 'Vaalu' in Triplicane in Chennai. The unit was canning some dialogue portions featuring the star on June 12 in late noon when hundreds of school and college students started thronging the place.
Newbie director Vijay Chandar had to stall the shoot and police had to be called as there was huge traffic. STR's bodyguards had to reportedly fight with the public who were on a 'Vaalu dialogue' high and help him leave the place.
The film stars Simbu, Santhanam and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles and is slated for a Diwali release. The trailer received positive response from movie goers as it's loaded with commercial elements.
