Los Angeles: Actor Adam Sandler is all set to star in comedy movie 'Ridiculous 6'.
He will begin production on the Paramount movie in April, and is currently writing it with Tim Herlihy.
Little is known about the potential story, although the title is reminiscent of Steve McQueen's 'The Magnificent Seven', which told the story of a group of men who protect a town in Mexico.
The movie is planned for a spring 2014 release, and no other stars are yet known for the project, reports contactmusic.com.
Sandler has seen a number of movie misfires in the last year, including the aforementioned 'Jack and Jill', in which he plays a pair of siblings alongside Katie Holmes.
The 46-year-old will next be seen in 'Grown Ups 2', reprising the role of Lenny Feder.
