Advani will begin his 38-day long Jan Chetna Yatra against corruption from Sitab Diara village in Bihar on Tuesday.
On the ambition behind this high-profile yatra, Lalu said, "This yatra is just an excuse. Advani or (Narendra) Modi, they all want to further their leadership ambition."
Also targeting his competitors in Bihar for pledging support to Advani, he said, "Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav are also siding with them. They have invited Advani for this yatra.
By beginning the yatra from Sitab Diara village, they are insulting the land where Jayaprakash Narayan was born since he was against RSS and BJP ideology."
He said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was using the BJP presence to cheat the minority community.
"Advani is spoiling the birth place of Jaya Prakash Narayan in Bihar and Nitish is only trying to further his own ambitions by supporting Advani," he said.
Advani can never change himself, irrespective of what he does, he said, adding he once mentored Narendra Modi and now fighting against him, that shows the level of the man.
